About Us
Surprise Australia is an online gift store based in Perth, Western Australia established in 2006. We deliver individual gifts and gift hampers and baskets within Australia.
Delivery
How much does delivery cost?
Depending on the weight of your gift and its destination, delivery costs for single gifts range between $13 to $22. Delivery will be calculated automatically during the checkout process.
How long does delivery take?
Estimated delivery time frames (excluding busy periods such as Christmas) are outlined below in business days and are intended as a guide only.
Perth Metropolitan: 1 day (click here for list of metropolitan areas)
Perth Outskirts and Western Australia Country: 2 – 3 days
Australian Interstate: 2 – 4 days
We make every effort to deliver within the minimum time stated. The maximum delivery time typically applies to more distant areas. There is no delivery on weekends or Australian public holidays.
Gifts for delivery within the Perth metropolitan area are delivered the next business day after order or specific date or date period as directed by you. Gifts going to CBD locations within the following interstate postcodes should reach their destination by the next business day.

We do accept specific dates for delivery within the Perth (WA) metropolitan area. Please specify this date during the checkout process if required.
We are not able to accommodate specific dates for delivery outside of the Perth metropolitan area, however if a gift is ordered well in advance, we will do our best to get it delivered as close as possible to the date you specify during the checkout process.
What happens I am purchasing several gifts or hampers going to different addresses?
You will need to do a separate order for each. Alternatively, you can put everything on the same order and make a note to us during the ordering process that you will send us a separate email (to enquiries@surpriseaustralia.com.au) advising the the individual addresses to which each gift must be delivered).
How will I know that you have received my order and that my gift has reached the recipient?
When you have placed an order successfully, our system automatically sends you an email to confirm your order and payment.
Similarly, when Surprise Australia dispatches your gift order, you will receive an email from us, advising of this.
After that, it is your responsibility to check with the recipient that they have received the gift.
How will my gift look?
Surprise Australia's gifts generally come presented in our trademark white gloss gift boxes with colourful box band, big bow and a Surprise Australia gift tag.
Gifts that come boxed from a supplier or do not fit into our gift box range will be individually wrapped and decorated. Basket gifts will be delivered in gift baskets within Perth and in closed gift boxes within the rest of Australia.
Personalised Gift Boxes
Personalised (white gloss) gift boxes can include the person's name, their birthday age or any other pre-selected wording (eg "grandma", "celebrate", etc) as chosen by the buyer during the purchasing process (Choose the "personalise my gift box" option on the product description page).
