About Us

Surprise Australia is an online gift store based in Perth, Western Australia established in 2008. We deliver individual gifts and gift hampers and baskets within Australia, including Perth and WA, Sydney and New South Wales (NSW), Melbourne and Victoria (VIC), Brisbane and Queensland (QLD), Adelaide and South Australia (SA), Darwin and Northern Territory (NT), Canberra and ACT and Tasmania. 

Delivery

How much does delivery cost?
Depending on the weight of your gift and its destination, delivery costs for single gifts range between $15 to $20. The standard delivery fee within Perth and Western Australia is $15.  Gifts going to other destinations generally have a $20 delivery fee.
 

How long does delivery take?

Estimated delivery time frames (excluding busy periods such as Christmas which are outlined specifically at the time) are outlined below in business days and are intended as a guide only.

Perth Metropolitan: 1 day (click here for list of metropolitan areas)
Perth Outskirts and Western Australia Country: 2 – 3 days
Australian Interstate (ie destinations outside of Western Australia): 2 – 3 days

We make every effort to deliver within the minimum time stated. The maximum delivery time typically applies to more distant areas. There is no delivery on weekends or Australian public holidays.

Gifts for delivery within the Perth metropolitan area are delivered the next business day after order or specific date or date period as directed by you. Gifts going to CBD locations within the following interstate postcodes should reach their destination by the next business day.

Adelaide CBD - 5000-5005; 5800-5879

We do accept specific dates for delivery within the Perth (WA) metropolitan area. Please specify this date during the checkout process if required.

We are not able to accommodate specific dates for delivery outside of the Perth metropolitan area, however if a gift is ordered well in advance, we will do our best to get it delivered as close as possible to the date you specify during the checkout process.
 

What happens I am purchasing several gifts or hampers going to different addresses?

We recommend you make a separate order for each. 
 

How will I know that you have received my order and that my gift has reached the recipient?

When you have placed an order successfully, our system automatically sends you an email to confirm your order and payment.

Similarly, when Surprise Australia dispatches your gift order, you will receive an email from us, advising of this.

After that, it is your responsibility to check with the recipient that they have received the gift.

How will my gift look?

Surprise Australia's gifts generally come presented in white gloss gift boxes or gift baskets covered in cellophane with bow and your message card, for delivery in the Perth metropolitan area.  Hamper and basket gifts going to destinations outside of the Perth metropolitan area arrive in closed gift boxes decorated with colourful box band and ribbon.

Single gifts that come boxed from a supplier or do not fit into our gift box range will be individually wrapped and decorated.
